A family-owned boutique brand

MUURWALL is a family-owned boutique brand founded on June 1st, 2021, led by Sophie and her daughter, Lucia.

Growing up in France, Sophie naturally inherited the effortless elegance of French culture. From an early age, she developed a strong passion for interior design — a love inspired by her parents. Her mother shared her interest in decoration, while her father brought decades of experience in the wallpaper industry. Even as a child, Sophie was already carefully choosing wallpaper designs for every room in her Barbie houses.

From experience to expertise

After moving to the Netherlands, Sophie began working professionally in the wallpaper industry as a commercial agent. Over ten years, she built her expertise with one of the largest wallpaper wholesalers in the Benelux region, especially in Belgium and Luxembourg. This experience gave her a deep understanding of customer needs, craftsmanship and international design trends.

A mother–daughter studio

In building MUURWALL, Sophie found her greatest support in her daughter Lucia, who shares the same love for striking interiors and thoughtful details. With a modern eye for aesthetics and a strong sense for visual storytelling, Lucia brings fresh creativity to the brand through marketing, styling and product presentation.

Together, this inspirational mother–daughter duo forms the heart of MUURWALL — a studio built on experience, passion and a genuine love for beautiful, high-quality walls.
